Senior level professional engineer with 7 years or more design experience to manage a Transportation Department.  Experience required on Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Design criteria for streets and highways.  Knowledge of CAD systems and procedures preferred.  Experience within San Antonio, Austin, surrounding areas or the state of Texas is preferred.

CIVIL ENGINEER-IN-TRAINING:

Job Description
Assist with and Perform Design, Analysis, Permitting, and Construction Administration for a variety of Civil Engineering Projects including; Single family residential subdivision (streets, drainage, water, and sanitary sewer); Multi-family, Commercial and Retail Center grading, drainage, and utilities plans; City and TxDOT roadway improvement and utility relocation Construction Plans; Floodplain, Stormwater Detention, and Traffic Impact Studies.

Requirements
Minimum:  Candidate must have a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field from a ABET accredited program and Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam.
Preferred: Minimum of 1-year experience in civil engineering industry. Working knowledge of AutoCAD Land Development Desktop (or Mircostation). Experience in residential or commercial Land Development projects, or Public Works projects including City of San Antonio, Bexar County, San Antonio Water System, or TxDOT. Familiarity with local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, civil design projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills

Requirements
5 years experience required in preparation of civil plans utilizing AutoCAD and/or Microstation.

TEXAS REGISTERED PUBLIC LAND SURVEYOR:

Job Description
Texas registered RPLS with 5 or more years of experience for a growing Survey Department with an established Civil Engineering Consulting firm.

Requirements
Candidate must have 5 years experience managing multiple survey crews.  Must demonstrate proficiency with client contact, management of project scope and preparing survey production schedules, requirements and cost proposals.  Must demonstrate the ability to perform and monitor proper data collection techniques, verify field data, and maintain quality control.  Must have extensive experience in the performance of DTM, ROW, ALTA/ACSM Boundary, Topographic, Construction Staking, Flood Plain Mapping, and Horizontal & Vertical Control Surveying.  Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Knowledge of Microstation, AutoCad, LDD4, Geopak, SDMS, CAICE, Fieldworks, Starplus, Ski, Madcap and GPS a plus.
