Vickrey & Associates, Inc. (V&A) has designed over 14 assisted-living facilities in San Antonio and Austin. We can provide due diligence analysis, subdivision platting, drainage/grading plans, dimension plans and utility plans, fire flow and flood plain analyses, preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), topographic and tree surveys, Traffic Impact Analyses, storm water management plans, coordination with the city for right-of-way dedication, building permit assistance, preparation of electric and gas service easement description, construction phase assistance, construction foundation staking, slab surveys and final as-built surveys. Our representative experience includes:

Remington Medical Resort is a 45,775 sq. ft. building with 55 parking spaces including four (4) handicapped spaces and ADA compliant access to the front and side of the building.

McKenna Village consists of two facilities; a 50,000 sq. ft. independent living building and a 52,000 sq. ft. assisted living building with parking capacity for 166 cars, 26 of which are handicap accessible.

Mesa Vista Inn Nursing Center is a 53,600 sq. ft. building on 6.35 acres with an ADA compliant parking lot and two access driveways.

Air Force Village Vitality and Wellness Center is a 9,800 sq. ft. facility constructed in the middle of the 40-year old Air Force Village retirement center that houses a 65-foot pool, a spa and workout areas.

Riverside Nursing Center is a single story, 38,938 sq. ft. convalescent services nursing home, with 124 beds and 70 employees, and a small detached maintenance building.

Alhambra Senior Apartment Homes is located on 4.778 acres and includes 150 age-restricted apartment units in the southern part of San Antonio.

Pleasanton Skilled Nursing Facility is a 33,500 sq. ft. building, consisting of four (4) wings and associated drives and parking areas on a 4.199 acre tract in the City of Pleasanton. A unique component of this project was the fire protection system. The City of Pleasanton required that the development have two hours of water storage capable of meeting NFPA standards. V&A designed two underground 35,000 gallon fiberglass storage tanks with submersible pumps capable of pumping 1500 gallons per minute at 20 psi for two hours without requiring water service from the City.

Dessau Road Nursing Center is located on 6.95 acres in Northeast Austin and consists of a 39,394 sq. ft. handicap accessible nursing home, and parking lot with dumpster pad.
