Steven Frost, P.E., is a Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control
In preparation for changes to the City of Austin’s Land Development Code, V&A’s Steven Frost, P.E. has received certification
as a Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC #5524). This designation indicates that Mr. Frost has
the educational training, demonstrated expertise, and experience in controlling erosion and sedimentation, and that
he meets certification standards as required by CPESC, Inc. The CPESC, Inc. certifies individuals based on thorough
examination and review of an individual's educational, scientific and service activities in both the public and private sector.
Beginning October 4th, 2010, the City of Austin will require that a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) prepare and certify both the storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) and the erosion and sediment control plans. A CPESC will also be required to perform construction site inspections and document all maintenance during the project's construction phase. As a CPESC, Mr. Frost is qualified to meet the City of Austin’s new requirements on future projects within the City’s jurisdiction.
